Michele Turnure-Salleo heads the San Francisco Film Society’s new fiscal sponsorship and regrant program. She has produced and directed projects for film and television for more than 15 years in Sydney, Berlin, Vancouver, Banff and Marseille. She was associate producer of Regret to Inform, an Oscar-nominated documentary about the effect of the Vietnam War on war widows. Her work includes Double Vision, an hour-long documentary about an innovative French opera company, feature narratives, short documentaries and narratives, artist profiles, PSAs and aboriginal dance videos. During her two years as in-house producer at the Banff Centre for the Arts in Canada, Turnure-Salleo produced documentary series for national broadcast, which included more than 20 half-hour episodes. She most recently worked as director of education and then associate director at Film Arts Foundation in San Francisco. She is currently producing the feature documentary, Free China Junk. Turnure-Salleo is also vice president of the board of San Francisco nonprofit Bay Area Women in Film and Television.

Linda Tracey is the Film Society’s fiscal sponsorship coordinator. She formerly worked at Film Arts Foundation and joined in July 2006 as office and human resources manager. Her keen interest in filmmakers and the filmmaking process motivated her to move to the fiscal sponsorship department in the role of coordinator in 2007. With more than ten years of retail management experience under her belt, Tracey is well suited to the position of managing filmmaker’s needs.
